I've always wanted to own a son of "Gunner" since he became a famous sire! I remember when we bought "Gunner" as a two year old and he was only a floppy eared paint horse with a great disposition! We rode Gunner as a two and on up into his three year old year until he was sold to the Rohus family who are now my neighbors ! Funny how small this world really is. I feel like this son of "Gunner" with his different but great bottomside pedigree will work for us in the reining and the cow horse ! Yes the cow horse. "Gunner's" sire Colonefourfreckle was bought by Charlie Hutton in Ft Worth at one of the NCHA sales. He was a cutting horse and his dam Katie Gun was trained and shown by Charlie in the reining and cow horse so there really is a lot of COW back there. This will be an exciting cross for us.
